Introduction: Rose Pearl Necklace

These necklaces are beyond gorgeous. I've made multiple as they're also very therapeutic. (Hence why the threading necklace and the finishing necklace are slightly different.) I really recommend making these.

Step 1: Supplies

Bead supplies:

Centre bead

Pearl beads

Seed beads

Beading wire

Scissors

Bulldog clasp

Measuring tape

For finishing the necklace:

Soldered shut jump rings

jump rings

finishing beads

crimp beads

crimp bead covers

lobster clasp

pliers

Step 2: Starting Off

Measure 22 inches of your threading wire - great for beginners if aiming for 18 inch necklace.

At the end of the wire fasten it with a bulldog clip.

Start beading.

Step 3: Centre Beads

Continue beading until you reach your centre bead.

Ive shown my bead ratio if it helps.

A great pro to beading wire over thread as you don't need to use nail polish to keep the fibres together (making threading easier) and you can thread directly onto the wire - you don't need a needle.

Step 4: All Threaded

Once you have finished your threading its time to start finishing the necklace.

Step 5: First Side

Thread a finishing bead, crimp bead and then a soldered shut jump ring in that order.

Loop the wire around the jump ring and thread it back through the crimp bead. Make sure not to cross the wires.

Step 6: Crimp

With your pliers , apply pressure to the crimp bead and it will flatten securing your bead.

Step 7: Crimp Bead Coverings

This step is optional but you may wish to cover your crimp bead. You can do so by placing a crimp bead cover over it a pressing it shut with pliers.

Step 8: Thread Through

Thread the excess wire through the closing bead then you can trim it or thread it through more beads.

Step 9: First Side Done

This is a tricky process but you get the hang of it once you've done it once or twice. I guarantee its worth it.

Step 10: Repeat on Other Side

Repeat steps 5-8 on the second side. However on this side open a jump ring with pliers and thread a lobster clasp through. Close the jump ring and your done.

Step 11: All Done

I've attached the number of beads I used. These necklaces are stunning and look very professional. The photos are lower quality due to the background I think sadly.

Step 12:
