Rube Goldberg Quench Your Thirst

Aim:

To pour a glass of water.

Equipment used:

books, string, train, bottle, tray, funnel, dominoes, lever, car, ramp, bridge, tables, train tracks, tape, balloons and rulers.

Technology used: ramps, lever, push forces, rails/gutters, bridge, funnel,

Step 1: Step 1 : Starting the Rube Goldberg

Push lever to release monster truck. ( car can be used if you like ) . The force of the lever pushes the monster truck forward.

Step 2: Step 2:

The monster truck then pushes the first domino which sets off a chair reaction where the dominoes push against the others one by one.

Step 3: Step 3:

One domino has string attached to it that is attached it a book. the domino falls off the edge of a little ramp and the domino with the rope attached to it triggers all the books to fall over.

Step 4: Step 4

The books then push a ping pong ball rolls down a ramp and then pushes more dominos that are in the shape of a V for the Vipers.

Step 5: Step 5

The dominos then hit a train with pins on it and when that falls it will pop a ballon with water in it the father falls down the funnel into the cup.
