Introduction: Rustic Bar Stool
In this video I show you (very quickly) how to build a rustic bar stool from the raw material: Logs. I also try to give some pointers as you watch. This is the first of (hopefully) many videos to come. You can purchase these stools or other furniture like them by emailing us at RusticStyle@yahoo.com. Thanks for watching!

I love the look of the legs! Have you thought about using a thick slice of wood from a tree trunk as the stool seat? It just looks a little small in comparison to the rest of the stool.

Well, most everyone else does use a slab. I don't for two reasons. 1: Slabs crack. The way the grain is going you get a lot of expansion and detraction outward but the legs want to stay still. So you either end up with a cracked seat, or lose legs. 2: Everyone else does it and I like to stand out. I find it to be a little too rustic. I think the milled wood or the upholstered seats are much classier. But of course, if someone requested it, I'd do it for them. Thanks for the comment!
