STEP 1: Get Your Parts
An electronics store should carry all of these parts but your store may not.
1.S-Video connector link
2. RCA connector and cable ( I salvaged mine)
3. 470pf ceramic capacitor (I already Had One)
4. Wire
5. Solder
6. Soldering iron

STEP 2: Build
follow the instructions on how to build it
Pin Out
1. Y Ground
2. C Ground
3. Y Data
4. C Data
First connect the Capacitor to pins 3 and 4, then connect 3 and 4 to RCA Data.
Second connect pins 1 and 2 to RCA ground.
third close it up and try it out.

STEP 3: Try It Out
Plug it into your computer and your TV.
Of course your have to fiddle with settings.
First put your TV into TV\Video Mode.
Then on your computer right click on your desktop and select Properties.
Next select the settings tab and click advanced and turn your display to TV.
You also may need to adjust your resolution settings.
this project will work but wont give you excellent quality text but is good for movies and other media.

If you use pins 3 and 1 you will get b&w.
If you use pins 4 and 2 you will get color.

I did a cable without the capacitor but it only works for less than a second, then everything goes black.
Do you believe if I use the cap it'll work? Also in what kind of electronics I can find one? I cant find a place that sells a pf anything.
