  5. 1x Buffer with screws and poly washers(OLDER GENERATION ONLY)
  6. 1x Trigger gap filler with screw
  7. 1x Grip mount with screw.

Required Other Components

  1. Barreled 10/22 receiver
  2. 10/22 trigger
  3. 1913 stock
  4. AR-15 grip and screw

Step 1: Install Grip Mount

Using the M4x18mm screw install the trigger gap filler on the grip mount.

Using the #12-24 1/2" screw attach the grip mount to the chassis.

Step 2: Install Grip

Install your AR-15 grip onto the chassis. The grip screw is not included by SBI. Your grip should include or specify a grip screw.

Step 3: Fit and Install Threaded Receiver Pins

The threaded receiver pins are designed to fit tight and may require hand fitting to your receiver. Test fit the pins to your receiver. If they are too snug, use a drill and sandpaper to sand down the pins to fit your receiver. DO NOT HAMMER THE PINS INTO YOUR RECEIVER, YOU WILL DESTORY THEM.

Step 4: Install Buffer (Older Generation Only)

Install the included buffer pin. Use 1 M4x8mm cap screw and poly washer on each side. Torque to finger snug. Max torque 20 in-lbs.

Note: Newer generation SBI Superlite Chassis use standard 10/22 buffers. Skip this step.

Step 5: Attach Chassis to Receiver

Slide the chassis over the receiver. Use the 4x M4x8mm flat head screws to attach the chassis. Torque all 4 to finger tight. Snug to 15 in-lbs. Note the chassis may fit tight on some receivers. 10/22 receivers have a large variance in widths. A tight or loose fit will not affect the function of the chassis.

Step 6: Attach Handguard

Slide the handguard over the v-block. Use the #12-24 3/4" button cap screw and polymer washer to secure the handguard to the receiver. Torque to 25 in-lbs max.

Step 7: Attach 1913 Stock

Following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your stock attach it to the chassis 1913 picatinny rail. Check your local legislation to ensure your stock is legal to use on your firearm. You are responsible to ensure you follow all applicable laws.
