Introduction: SKOOG

We will be teaching today all about skoog. Skoog is a device that makes it easy to play music. You can take it anywhere you go as long as you have a device to connect it with. Skoog is very helpful for children with special needs. Its very easy to keep in place and even the buttons are soft and easy to press. Each circle on the skoog has a specific color on it so you know what you should click.

Step 1: Setting Skoog Up

Firstly to get your skoog set up you will need a device such as an ipad, tablet or phone.

This device will need to be able to connect to blue tooth and it needs to have the skoog app.

Next you need to turn on your skoog by clicking the small black button on the bottom of it.

Once both the skoog and devices blue tooth is on you will need to connect them. By going to the app and pressing the small icon in the corner that's in the shape of the skoog. Then find the device and connect it.

Once they are connected you will need to go to the skoog app and press the calibrate button. Do not touch the skoog as you calibrate it. Finally you can start playing with your skoog.

Step 2: Features

The skoog has many features to use. Firstly the most basic action that it does is make simple music. To hear the music you can either click the colored circles on the skoog or the computer. If you want to change the instrument type then you can go to the top bar and click the guitar. There are many different types of instruments to choose from. Not only can you invent music, you can play music that's already been made. Skoog has a song book filled with basic songs that are color coded and easy to play. You simply have to look at the computer and see what color to play and how long to hold it. You are also able to change the sensitivity of the skoog. If someone cannot press as hard then they will have difficulty playing music You can also import your own songs. If someone particularly likes a certain song then you can import it through itunes or spotify.
