Introduction: Safe Door Opener (Silly Solutions)

I got this idea of creating a safe door opener after reading about coronavirus. I read coronavirus will stay on the surface of metal glass and all these places, and also in our daily life, these are all the places where we touch the come in contact with those surfaces and there is a lot of chance where we get infected when we touch those surfaces especially in malls and other public places so to avoid the direct contact with the surfaces I thought of making a simple tool using Tinker CAD.

This safe door opener has a feature of pushing and pulling of the door. - when we need to push the door we can use the bottom of this tool to push without getting direct contact with the surface. - when the door needs to be pulled for the opening we can use the hook kind of structure which is been built in the tool so that it gets attached to one of the handles of the door through which we can easily pull the door.

This way this tool can also be useful to carry a handbag or it can also be used to receive something from others without even being directly contacting them

Step 1: Step 1: Creating the Handle for Safe Door Opener.

Use the cylinder shape in the basic shapes for creating the handle and resize it to a certain level where we can hold that in our hands.

Then also take a small cylinder which will hold the head part of the door opener and align it to the center as shown in the figure.

Step 2: Step 2: Create a Hook Shaped Puller.

To create this use the extrusion shape from the featured shapes and create it like a hook that can pull the doors of any kind and also make it soo thick that it will not break when printed using a 3D printer.

Step 3: Step 3: Create a Hinge for the Hook to Make It Move

Now we sal create a hinge for the hook that can move the hook when fixed. To make that let us use the solid box shape and also the hole box shape in a combination so that the final result will look like the above image.

Step 4: Step 4: Place the Hinge on Top of the Handle

Now place this hinge on top of the handle so that we can create a hole for the pin so that we can give the action of folding.

Step 5: Step 5: Create a Hole for Pin in the Hinge

Now we shall create a hole for the pin to insert in the middle of the hinge and add the pin using the cylinder shape.

Step 6: Step 6: Add the Pin to the Hinge Where Hole Is Created

Add the pin, that is created using the cylinder shape and after we position the pin the tool should look something like this.
