Introduction: Samurai Bunny - Digital Markers

Introducing the Samurai Bunny. This digital marker painting was done in Infinite Painter over the course of a few evenings. The how-to of this will be really simple, this entry is more about sharing my art, publicly, for the first time.

Supplies

Infinite Painter

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7FE

Samsung S-Pen Pro (yes, it makes a difference)

Step 1: Samurai Bunny

It starts with an idea and a pencil sketch. I like to use the Concept Pencil tool in Infinite Painter.

Step 2:

My outliner of choice is the Signature Pen. Reduce the flow to about 80 but keep the opacity at 100, angle at -28. This creates a firm top edge with small, flowy drip. Create a new layer and go over your edges.

Step 3:

Painting digitally is great because you can paint behind your outlines using a clipping mask, and there's always the undo function.

Step 4:

Final steps are to add a border, signature in the corner, and export. I do move the file over to Adobe Illustrator for final trimming and matting -not a required step.
