Introduction: Saving Water and Money Now That's Independence
Nothing spells Independence more then saving our natural resources and help people save thousands of dollars per year!
Help us save Las Vegas from further drought restrictions
I I am Licensed and bonded landscape contractor is looking to help our customers convert there thristy lawns into water saving desert landscape all for free to our customer. That's right you will be helping people save money and conserve water, over a millions gallons of water per year.
The SNWA accomplished its previous conservation goal two years early and, in 2009, the SNWA Board of Directors set the bar even higher, asking the community to reduce its average water use by an additional 20 percent by 2035.
Between 2002 and 2011, Southern Nevada’s consumption of Colorado River water decreased by approximately 36 billion gallons, despite the addition of 400,000 residents during that decade.
The Water Smart Landscapes Rebate helps property owners convert water-thirsty grass to desert landscaping, a lush yet water-efficient landscape.
SNWA will rebate customers $1.50 per square foot of grass removed and replaced with desert landscaping up to the first 5,000 square feet converted per property, per year. Beyond the first 5,000 feet, SNWA will provide a rebate of $1 per square foot.
What we do is we pay all upfront cost for the customer then the SNWA sends out a rebate check two months after completion. In our down economy most people don't have the initial money to pay, so we help them save water with no money out of pocket to them. A free desert conversion to the customer thanks to the good people at the SNWA and everyone at the Jack Daniels Independence
