Introduction: 2D Shape Puzzle
This puzzle uses your ability to move 2D pieces to create a rectangle in over 50 different ways. This is a game designed to test your creative thinking and problem solving and is great for children ages 3 and up.
Step 1: Supplies Needed
You will need:
- Graph paper
- Pen
- Glue
- Scissors
- Cardboard or cereal box
Step 2:
Paste the shapes onto some cardboard, it doesn't have to be very thick, cereal boxes works fine. make sure all the piece are on a solid part of the cardboard that doesn't have any bends or tears.
Step 3:
First draw the shapes on some graph paper like I did in this image.
Step 4:
Cut out the shapes around the black lines, colour in the shapes if you like to.
Step 5:
Try and create a rectangle out of the shapes in different ways, there is over 50 different combinations!
