Shiplap Wall

This is a fun project to do with your kids and teach them some life skills.

the goal: to make a shiplap wall with a shelf

the tools needed:

Tape measure

Paint brush

Miter Saw

Table saw

Sawhorse

Rubber mallet

If you have those tools you are all set and ready to go.

Step 1: Steps

Step 1: Measure the walls to see how much wood will be needed for the shiplap wall.

Step 2: Determine How much wood to get

Step 3: How much primer and paint to get

Step 4: sand wood

Step 5: Prime and paint the wood

Step 6: Watch it dry

Step 7: finds the stud on the wall with a stud finder

Step 8: mark up the walls so you know where the studs

Step 9: cut the wood to the correct size

Step 10: begin to hang the wood up one piece at a time

Step 11: fill in all the holes where you nailed

Step 12: wash up the wood and touch up if needed
