Intro: Silicone Bracelet Fix for Your Child's Corn Popper Push Toy.

If you have hard flooring and kids you may have found out most of their toys, with plastic wheels, have a lack of traction on hard surfaces.

For this Instructable we are going to make it so that your toddler's corn popper toy will work on all surfaces. All you will need is a few old things you probably have laying around the house.

STEP 1: Gather Materials!

For this fix you will need :

1x Fisher Price corn popper push toy

2x Silicone bracelets that you don't use anymore. Preferably from a loved charity organization or fund raiser.

2x Hands with opposable thumbs. (thumbs are not absolutely needed but make the process much easier)

That's about it ...

STEP 2: Assemble!

Now for the difficult part.

Take each bracelet and stretch it over each of the corn popper's wheels.

Make sure to keep the bracelet away from the wheel well. Otherwise it may impede the rotation of the wheel and frustrate your little one.

STEP 3: Let the Fun Begin!


Now that you have added some traction to the wheels of your little ones toy, let em at it!

This is truly why didn't I think of that. Much better than the duct tape I have on there now that has to be cleaned or leaves a sticky goo. Best of all places give these away all the time. Thanks.

This also works for various other kids toys. As long as the wheel diameter is roughly the same.
