Step 1: Put the Button on the Breadboard

Step 2: Place the Resistor

Place one end in one rail with the button and the other in a empty rail.

Step 3: Place a Wire.

Connect it to the rail that is on the other side of the button from the resistor and connect the other side to the ground rail.

Step 4: Place an LED and Power and Your Done.

Connect the negative and or short leg of the LED into the real with a resistor then connect the other leg to the positive rail. Then get a 9 V battery and connect the positive to the positive and the negative into the negative rail.
