Intro: Simple (Hard-Sided) Ice Chest - 5 Gallon Bucket Style! W/styro-liner - Cheap & Easy

very simple way to make a 14 can hard-sided insulated ice-chest. only cost about $5.00 total

STEP 1: Watch VERY Short Instr. Video (46 Seconds Long)

STEP 2: Buy Items...

1.) 5 gallon bucket w/lid ($2.48)

2.) 5 gallon bucket styrofoam liner w/lid. ($2.00)

STEP 3: Assemble It...

drop in liner and add lid. that's it.

STEP 4: Being Used During Power Outage

held everything i had in fridge for 2 to 3 days. note: i know this is a super simple instructable but i thought it was worth posting since these bucket ice-chests are great and super cheap. about 5 bucks for everything. if you can't find liner at home depot (they are often out or say it's an online item only) try walmart, amazon, or a paint store like sherwin williams.

Another great idea from you! (I first saw your burning T-shirt in a can.) I'm now going to look at all your Instructables. I think you may have a lot of great ideas and thanks for sharing them.

Perfect for hiding your beer stash on the job site :)

lol. great idea! i never thought of that

I was all set to ask you where you found the bucket liner since I had never seen them before, and you gave several places to find them in the last step... so all that is left to say is great job :)
