Introduction: Simple Metal Texture

In this instructable, I'll show how to make a simple metal texture.

Step 1: Too Much Noise!

First of all, fill in your layer with a dark grey. Then go to Filter> noise> add noise, and play around with the settings.

Step 2: Blurry!

Then go to filter> Blur> motion blur. Again play around with the settings, although I normally like a diagonal blur.

Step 3: Light

Now go to filter> render> lighting effects. Tinker with the settings, there is no certain way of doing this.

Step 4: Et Voila!

Your metal texture! Now go ahead and make it fancy!
