Introduction: Simple Wood Gas Stove

Hey everyone this is my first 'ible and it may not be the best so bare with me. this is a simple and quick wood gas stove to make and is light weight and small.

I did not invent this and do not take responsibility for what you do with this stove or if you burn your self

So PLEASE BE SAFE FIRE IS DANGEROUS!!!!!

Step 1: Materials

most important:
1) can
2) knife
3) marker

optional:
1) can opener (recommended)
2) church key can opener
3) needle nosed pliers






Step 2: Cleaning the Stove.

this part is fairly simple.

1) peel off label then open the can and empty out the  contents of the can.

for this you can use a can opener (recommended) or if you don't have one you can use a knife.

the can does not have to be the same size as the one I am using but the is a more compact one and lighter to carry.

I made pasta sauce with the tomato paste in the can. yum.

Step 3: Now to Make the Stove

now that the body is clean, we can make the stove.

1) take either the knife or church key can opener and make a row of holes on the bottom of the can.

i have 6 holes but you can put more.

2) take the maker and make a square, triangle, or circle in the middle of the can.
this is the fuel port were all of the fuel will be put into the stove.

3) next cut out the shape with your knife or a pair of sciccors.
I find that if you start the cut with the knife then finish with the sciccors is easier.








Step 4: Finishing the Stove

once you have finished that you are ready to light it.
i wanted more air in-flow so i add more holes at the top

to light the stove you gather some wood and the break them into small pieces. next you put them into the stove and light it with a piece of paper.  soon you can roast marshmallows, hotdogs, or campfire bread in a light weight, compact, and very portable stove.
