Introduction: Simply Flower Card
For this card you will need:
- Embossing machine with polka dot embossing folder
- Brown card or brown card stock to make a card
- Grey card stock
- Turquoise card stock
- Black and white swirl paper
- Fabric flowers
- Small silver jewel
- Glue stick or double sided tape squares
- Liquid glue
- Paper slicer or scissors
Step 1: Emboss Your Gray Card Stock
Cut a piece of gray card stock 5 1/2" x 2 3/4". Using an embossing machine, emboss the gray paper with a polka dot print.
Step 2: Cut Out Your Blue Card Stock and Your Black and White Swirl Paper
Cut the blue paper to 5 1/2" x 2 1/4", and the black and white swirl paper to 5 1/2" x 1 7/8".
Step 3: Attach Your Embossed Gray Paper
Using a glue stick or double sided tape squares, attach your embossed gray paper to the middle of your brown card.
Step 4: Attach Your Blue Paper
Using a glue stick or double sided tape squares, align the blue paper onto the middle of the gray embossed paper, and press down firmly to attach it.
Step 5: Attach the Black and White Swirl Paper
Using a glue stick or double sided tape squares, place your swirl paper onto the middle of the blue paper, and press down firmly to attach it.
Step 6: Add the Flower
Using a liquid glue, add your fabric flower to the middle of the card.
Step 7: Finish With a Jewel!
Finish the card by adding a small silver jewel to the middle of the flower. If your jewels are not sticky on the back, you may have to use liquid glue to attach it.
