Slushie Cupcakes!

Intro: Slushie Cupcakes!

These adorable cupcakes can be made by adding half of a bottle of slushie flavor and a little more flour to your favorite cupcake recipe. The cup is made from a small plastic cup and a label I made in Word.  I Got the straws from a local Restraunt, who were kind enough to donate 12 straws to Charity. (that's My Mom's Name, by the way) They were cut down to size, and stick into the cupcakes.

Recipe:
1 1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar 
2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 bottle of slushie flavor

mix solids, (not the butter), then add liquids and butter. Blend with mixer on medium speed. pour into cupcake pans. bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.

Note: You'll want your batter to be slightly watery. It gives the cupcakes a texture.

yes! I used blue raspberry, and come to think of it, it was snow cone liquid. oops.
