Introduction: Small Recycled Plastic Container

Want a small container but can’t find any at home? If so, this is the perfect craft for you!

🌍 These containers are made from plastic water bottles that would otherwise be thrown to landfills.

⏳ They take less than 10 minutes to make and are totally customizable!

🦋 You may choose to put things like beads or rings inside the container or use it to store DIY lip balm.

Supplies

✏️ 1 plastic water bottle

✏️ 2 plastic water bottle caps

✏️ hot glue gun with glue

✏️ scissors

✏️ (optional) paint, glitter, jewels

Step 1: Cut the Bottle

Using your scissors, cut the top part of the water bottle so that only the cap part is left.

Step 2: Creating the Base

Hot glue a cap to the bottom part of the bottle (opposite to the side where the cap screws) to create the base of the container. Look at the picture for reference.

Step 3: That's It!

The container is complete.

Step 4: Make It Stand Out :)

you can go a step further and decorate your container! I chose to make a heart shape out of hot glue and then paint both caps in bronze paint. You can also add things like glitter or jewels!
