It could also include safety features for the home such as a fire alarm or a carbon monoxide detector which would also notify the fire department or other authorities of emergencies in the home. The Smart Home Assistant would have apps that the family could play on with their kids, or could even further assist with living. It would be possible for you to order dinner from it, video call loved ones, listen to music, and tap a button to summon a ride share.
