Step 1: Starting: Making the Pieces.

Most of the designs can be pretty basic in terms of shape and figure: this is done with the intention of being able to make them by yourself by using any basic cutting materials that can be found everywhere.

Step 2: Electronics

Meanwhile one of your partners can be doing all the electronics, first by preparing all the cables, brazing the LEDs and sensors to the wires and then isolating them to the other metals.

Step 3: Ensambling

Once you are done cutting all the pieces, one of the members of the team may move to assembling all the parts together; they can be glued side-by-side using silicone.

(In this pictures the LEDS, wires and the boards)

(At these point the sensors should also be in the process of being installed)

Step 4: All Comes Together

After we put all the pieces together, we start mount
them into the cardboard and MDF made model:

Step 5: EXTRA: SENSORS

Here the push button is used as a pressure sensor.

In the code the functionality of the push button can be defined, yet we made it so that if the button is pushed it will count as if a car had stepped on it; this was archived by connecting it with following configuration:

While the push button functionality can be defined by its configuration, the infrared sensor only has three wires: one red for the voltage, a black one for the ground and lastly the yellow is the exit for the signal.

Step 6: EXTRA: EXAMPLE OF CONNECTIONS

Once connected to the programmable board the connections can look like this.

But either of the blue cables of the board can be removed depending on what you want to use: the push button or the infrared sensor, so it should slim down a a bit.
