Sniper Rifle Toy

Military protects our nation. They serve to protect. They hold weapons in their arms and fight the enemy with the weapons to protect us. One such weapon is the Sniper Rifle. I noticed a Sniper Rifle in the arms of a military person and immediately wanted to create it, to feel powerful.

A weapon comes with great responsibility and I felt rather evoked to re-create such a powerful weapon and hold it in my arms so that one day, we never would have to hold such a dangerous object in our hands again.

Supplies

1. Newspaper converted into rolls, roll a newspaper around a thin chopsuey stick.
2. Glue
3. Any material like metallic cans, bottles, bottle-caps.
4. Reference Image. I used
5. Acrylic Paint - I used Black and Brown paint for the color.
6. Mod Podge Gloss and Matte.
7. Paint Brushes.
8. Metallic Paint - I used slight dots and marks of metallic pearl color to highlight it.

Step 1: Construct the Shape From the Reference Image

1. glue together the items.
2. I have glued cans, bottles, bottle-caps, etc.
3. Make sure you don't glue your hands together. :P
4. Initially, I found it difficult to make the shape sturdy and strong.
5. I ended up, folding the sticks and creating knots in all directions just to make it not budge sideways or upwards.
6. I had to use a Stapler to pin certain items in position. I used normal glue but at some places, I used the Fevikwik - a stronger glue for materials.

Step 2: Paint!

I mixed Mod Podge Matte for the bottom body and Gloss for the scope with black and brown colors respectively and ended up with this.
