Open Wide Your Bonnet/hood

Introduction: Open Wide Your Bonnet/hood

This is brilliantly simple. I'll be amazed if you don't know it already. But, just in case... It's not my idea, I got it from Subaru. If you spend a lot of time with your head in here, like me, do this. You'll need a centre punch, a hammer, a drill, and a drill bit (in my case a 10mm).

Step 1: So Easy

This is the factory bonnet/hood open position.

Step 2: So Easy

This is the new improved open position. All I had to do was drill a hole in the guard/wing. There was already a factory suitable hole in the bonnet/hood. Unplug the bottom/hinge end of the stay/support and shift it to it's new improved position.

Don't forget to disconnect your windscreen washer hoses.
The bonnet's a bit harder to put back on. And can you do it by yourself?
There's less risk of damage to the bonnet where it is too.
Oh, and be nice. Just sayin'.

Nice idea. I'd recommend editing and changing your title to something more descriptive though - I had no idea what this was about based on your current title. Just a tip! ; )
