These specimens are my favorite finds from various rock hunting trips I've gone on in Canada.

Nope, southeast Michigan. It's a 7 hour drive but totally worth it. I might go collecting again this year.

If you're talking about the variety of corundum, than probably (I do have brown corundum, several pounds actually and I would gladly sell some for novelty value). If  you're thinking of some sort of ore for adamantium, no, since that actually turns out to be some sort of magic alloy (IE a mixture of metals).
Sorry for the late reply, It was a dwarf fortress reference, But anyway Adamantine is a generic term for a super metal like unobtanium
