Introduction: Spaghetti and Meatballs Costume

Super simple spaghetti and meatballs costume. I had actually purchased the baby sized version of this but it was so easy to make that I made this one a few years later when she was bigger. You need an off white hat, an off white shirt, brown material (I used an old brown mole skin shirt), off white thick yarn, plastic fork, large container of parmesan cheese. I used 4 big bundles of the thickest yarn I could find. I cut them all up into different sized pieces and hand stitched bundles of them all over the hat and shirt. Then I cut out up the brown mole skin shirt into circles about 5 inches across. I wouldn't suggest using anything like mole skin or even felt though because I had to constantly pick yarn lint off of the meatballs. I stuffed the circles with yarn scraps and pieces of the shirt that I had not used and hand stitched around the outer edge of the circle and then pulled the two ends of the thread together to close the meatball and tied off the thread. I then hand stitched the meatballs to the costume. I took a silver colored plastic fork and wrapped some yarn around it and hot glued it to the top of the hat. I purchased an extra large container of parmesan cheese at a warehouse club and poked holes in the side and used the yarn to make a long strap for her to wear across her body as a trick or treat bag. As a final piece, which I don't have a picture of, I put a sign on her little push buggy car she had that said "Olive Garden Delivery Service" and I pushed her around from house to house in that car. The whole costume cost about $20 and took about 3 hours to create.
