Introduction: Spider Leg Design
If you want to make something that is similiar to a spider robot with not as many electronics. This should be a good idea / way you can make these legs work. This instructables will have a step by step guide on how to build these components and how to add them to your project
Supplies
You first need
- Acrylic of any color (hopefully sheet form) I recommend it being 6mm thick just to help support other components in your project
- Having thin iron rods that are cut into small pieces will be helpful , we will talk about these later in the tutorial
- Hot glue / super glue could be useful to bind pieces together in your project
- A arduino board (preferably the
- Male and female wires
- To program the arduino board you should use a arduino agen software

Step 1: Getting Your Pieces
You want to use a lazar cutter to cut these pieces out of your sheet of acrylic. Make sure that all of these measurements are somewhat precise, but the best. Below is a inkscape file with all the component that I used in my work , but feel free to change them to fit your needs.
Step 2: Connecting the Pieces
Now that you have gotten all your pieces you should assemble them correctly. Here is a picture on how what it should look like in the end. The following steps with go through how to do them in detail. I suggest printing multiple of the same piece cause its hard to make them align on the first try.
