I made the Spy Alien from Mars Attacks movie, my favorite Tim Burton movie, it was a challenge to make this cosplay because some of the parts of this costume take a bit of time and patience! I worked hard on it for 3 weeks, i am very proud of how it came out and i hope you enjoy it 💖

Supplies

I used molded foamy

White Glue

Silicon Glue

Glitter Glue

A lot of hair spray

Acrylic Paint

Latex

Makeup Eyeshadows


Step 1: Gun Making

  1. First i made the gun using stereophone balls from different sizes
  2. Then i used the molded foamy
  3. I stick them all together using a wire
  4. Same with the gun handle
  5. I then used acrylic paint to make it a bit more shiny

Step 2: Painting the Dress

First i got the dress

i then used glitter glue to paint all the swirls the dress had, one by one (this took me a bit longer)

At the end with the help of my mom we put a wire on the bottom of the dress to shape it more and make it more round for when i walk

Step 3: Making the Prosthetic of the Mouth

For the mouth prosthetic i used molded foamy to make the shape of the mouth and teeh, then i cover it with latex and cotton for texture, once it was dried, i used acrylic paint and some eyeshadow to paint the prosthetic

Step 4: The Wig

The wig came as a vintage wig so first i had to straighten it! Then we cut it to the lenght i needed, the parts that we cut, we used them as extensions to put in the front to remove the bangs and put everything up, we used a lot of of hair spray for that and let it dried overnight!

Then again with other extensions we made the swirl in the front and we spray it a lot with hairspray and dried it with the blow dried

After that i used the hair straightener to curl the tips of the wig and then add rollers, we then used hair spray again to keep the curl! We let it dried overnight, after that i took the rollers and i let it with some hair clips, i added more hairspray and let it dried overnight!

Finally i removed the hair clips and using my hand to keep the curl up and more hair spray! And thats it the curl stayed💖
