Absolutely FANTASTIC set of goggles!!!! I am so jealous!! One request I have (aside from doing a full Instructable on how you made them), is would it be possible to get more pictures of the inside of the goggles? I'm curious how the inner part looks, and the pictures that are posted don't show much of the interior. I am extremely impressed and inspired by this project, and want you to know how fantastic they look! Thanks for sharing!!! Cheers!

I agree, the aged look is excellent! I'd love to hear more about how you did it.
A full step-by-step on a project like this would be amazing!

Thank you very much) I will Try to describe:
1. we need to : ammonia solution ( Ammonium chloride) medical solution 10%
a weak solution of hydrochloric acid (soldering acid)
jar with a cover
2. process: pour on the bottom of the jar ammonia
put the product in a jar, close the lid, put in the heat.
we see how transparent liquid becomes a bright blue, as the product grows dim and covered with oxides of nitrogen
keep the product in the jar 4-5 hours, periodically turning, and as soon as it becomes completely covered with oxides of nitrogen - pulls.
the finished product has a color - dark-green, with the transition to the blue and black
acid and cloth begin to scour the patina ( Caution - acid must be very little)
and that's all :)
bad know English, but I hope that anything would help :)

Now THAT, is true Steampunk; how old and scrappy the parts look, and the details are really authentic.

I like the aged look. Did you braze the items and leave the oxidation?
