What do you do with a pot lid with a broken handle? Fix it!
This quick Sugru fix saved a pot lid from the trash and made it more fun and functional.
Step 1: Start With a Pot Lid
The plastic handle on this pot lid broke off leaving only a weird rough stem.
Step 2: Add Sugru
We had both black and white Sugru on hand, so we decided to use a bit of both.
First we shaped black Sugru into a handle out around the remaining bit.
Next we added small dimples.
Little pieces of white Sugru were rolled into balls and inserted into the dimples.
After smoothing it out, the Sugru was left to cure.
The new handle looks cute and is easier to grip.
