Intro: Super Simple Telegraph

In This Instructable, I am going to show how to build a simple one way telegraph, in case you get trapped in the bathroom.

STEP 1: Ingredients

Since this is so simple, all you need to do is go to the recycling bin, and grab some supplies. Anyway, this is what you need.

- A Piece Of Black Paper

- Yarn

- 2 toilet paper tubes ( I Think They're Called Derders)

- 2 rubber bands

- Scissors

- Tape ( just in case)

The little bits are:

- Power - Button

- Dimmer - Buzzer

STEP 2: Tracing

First lay out your paper in an uncluttered area (I'm a bad example), and put your

Derders on top like so. Very loosely trace the outer paper.

STEP 3: Cutting

You probably know whats gonna happen next. Cut the place where you traced.

STEP 4: Assembling

Take the paper that you cut ( the one thats circular) put it on top of the Derders and rap tightly with a rubber band

STEP 5: Cutting

I know what you're thinking, But I just put the scissors back! Well, go grab something sharp, at least. All you have to do is cut a a hole in the paper, close to the middle.

STEP 6: Cut the Yarn

Hopefully, by this time you have made the Derders look like a mini bongo with a hole in the middle. Now, you can stretch the yarn to your desired length and cut it.

STEP 7: Almost There...

Now you probably know what you're making. Put one end into each hole in the paper. Tape it, Knot it, somehow keep it in place.

STEP 8: Little Bits

The moment you have been waiting for... The Little bits! The Little Bits go like this

power dimmer button buzzer

STEP 9: Finished!

Now put the little bits into the Derder and then...... tell someone your trapped in the bathroom.

Hope you like the Instructable! I like feed back and problems. See ya!
