T.J. Watt Tombstone Project

I made a T.J. Watt tombstone with all the names of the quarterbacks he has sacked in his NFL career

Supplies

I used the following

1. CNC Router
2. Gorilla glue
3. Foam
4. Paint
5. Ink scape
6. E carve
7. Solid works

Step 1: 3D Design

I used solid works to design and print out the tombstone and its base. Then saved it as a DXF file.

Step 2: 2D Nesting

Then I came over to solid works and this is what I used to make the perfect shapes for the cnc router to cut.

Step 3: Creating the Program

Then I used vcarve to put the names onto the tombstone then I put my project on a hard drive for the cnc router to cut out

Step 4: Spray Painting

Then I used spray paint to get the names black so that the tombstone seamed aged and so the names popped out more.

Step 5: Paint Rolling

Then I used a paint ruler to paint over the whole thing.
