Introduction: Taco Pizza
This Instructible will teach you how to make a pizza that I have enjoyed for many years, a Taco Pizza with only 7 grams of fat for 1/4 of the pizza (as opposed to 12 grams for a slice of pepperoni pizza).
Step 1: Ingredients
Ingredients:
1 Pizza Crust
1 Package of shredded cheese with taco seasoning
1 Can of re-fried beans
1/6 Head or bag of Iceberg lettuce
1 Package of Taco Seasoning
1 1/2 pounds of ground sirloin
1 Pizza Crust
1 Package of shredded cheese with taco seasoning
1 Can of re-fried beans
1/6 Head or bag of Iceberg lettuce
1 Package of Taco Seasoning
1 1/2 pounds of ground sirloin
Step 2: Bake the Crust and Cook the Meat
You first Preheat the oven to
400 degrees Fahrenheit and place crust on baking stone. Bake crust for 5 minutes, while at the same time brown meat. Then, strain and rinse the meat to remove excess fat. Put the meat back into pan and add the seasoning per package instructions.
Step 3: Add the Toppings
First, use Re-Fried beans as your paste, then add the meat on the beans, and top it off with cheese. Add other toppings as desired. After toppings are put on, bake the entire pizza at 400 for an additional 8-10 Minutes.
Step 4: Remove From Oven
Remove pizza from the oven. It should look as shown then you sprinkle with the lettuce. Congratulations you just made a Taco Pizza.
