Introduction: The Light Cable Holder
This Instructable will show you how to make a light cable holder using Tinkercad. This product can be used as a flashlight or a cable holder, or both. It is really easy to make and can be tweaked if your cables are a different size.
Supplies
- Led light (I used a 10mm preset from Tinkercad):
Step 1: Making the Main Part
I took a cylinder and made it 0.4 inches tall, and 0.8 by 0.8. Then I measured my headphone cable and made a hole that size in Tinkercad. Once I had aligned them in the right places, I grouped them together. And just like that, the main part was complete.
Step 2: The Light and the Battery
I went into the components section of Tinkercad and found the 10mm light. I put that into the middle of the main part. Since the preset battery on Tinkercad was too big for my use, I found a smaller battery at my house and put the dimensions of that battery into Tinkercad.
Step 3: The Battery Cover and Final Product
Once the light and battery were situated, I decided to make a battery cover to make the product look better aesthetically. If I were to make this, I would tape the battery case and the main piece together.
Step 4: 3d Model Link
