Introduction: The Story of the Appearance of the Terminator T-800 (my Version).
Supplies
Unfortunately, I am almost certain that it would be difficult to make a copy of this project and impossible to replicate it exactly. Therefore, I will show you the history of the creation (master class) of this cradle project, but, I apologize in advance, without specifying the materials. It was made in 2017, and I bought all the parts in Israeli stores. Except for the electronic clock, I bought them on eBay, but I didn't save the link, sorry. I think you can find such clocks on Amazon or eBay.
Step 1: Start: Glass Flask for Cradle
I bought this glass flower vase on impulse at IKEA. I haven't seen any more like it there (IKEA in Beersheba, Israel).
I cut off the opening at the top of the vase, and the “body” of the vase became a glass cover for this cradle.
Step 2: The Frame for This Cradle and the Installation of an Electronic Clock.
In my old stash, I found a round wooden box that was perfect for the body of this cradle. Next, I painted the box with black wood stain. I cut a round hole in the front for the clock and decorated the body with brass elements that look like rivets.
Step 3: Creating a Baby-terminator ))
I think , this photo shows the process of creating a little Terminator in detail: I wrapped a plastic baby in silver foil (it's real silver).
Step 4: Filling the Cradle With Interior Details
Filling the cradle with interior details, building an electronic cradle for the little Terminator. Real ceramic insulators were used for greater realism.
Step 5: Lots of Wires—but a Beautiful Show in the End
And a little electricity for a beautiful light show. Lots of wires—but a beautiful show in the end. The only thing I regret is that I didn't make a dynamic light show, even with lasers, but I won't be repeating this project.
Step 6: Few More Photos of the Finished Project “Cradle for the Terminator T-800.”
Thank you for viewing this slightly unusual post.
