Introduction: The Easiest Bookmark Ever in 30 Seconds!
If you're like me, you keep reading books all the time. I can't fall asleep without reading at least 3-4 pages. I also read when I wake up, on the bus... everywhere and everytime I only can.
What makes me angry is that I always loose my bookmarks, so I keep folding current pages just to remember where I stopped reading. That's not a good way...
So I came up with this idea. This is the simplest "portable and universal" (I'd even call it "plug&play") bookmark that you can make in less than 30 seconds. In fact, reading this instructable will probably take more of your precious time, than using it ;)
So let's get to work.
BTW. Please excuse me my english as it's not my native language, and also this is my first instructable, which I post here mostly to learn how to do it. Despite this I hope you'll like my bookmark idea.

Step 1: What Do We Need?
1. one paperclip
2. some kind of a ribbon - choose your favourite color and width, the length shoud be preferable about 30 centimeters (that's about 11,81 inches)
3. scissors
4. and a book of course :)

Step 2: The Main Construction :)
Simply put the ribbon through the one end of paper clip and tie knot, just like the one on the picture :)
Step 3: Apply the Bookmark
Now apply the paperclip to the back cover of your book. That's the beauty of this idea: after you read the book, just take it off and use with another one. Also it fits with the cheap paperback the same as with hard-covered books.
Step 4: Cut the Rest of the Ribbon
If the ribbon is too long you may want to shorten it by cutting unneeded end. Just make sure to leave some of it outside the book. This will help you open it and also keep in mind that if the book is "fat" you may need the longer bookmark.
Step 5: Enjoy It!
Et voila! The bookmark is ready. Use it, enjoy it, and never ever fold the pages anymore :)
I hope you like the idea.
Oops, the pictures were taken with my cellphone, so please forgive the quality. My next instructable (which I'm working on now...) will be something more complicated and the pictures will be high quality, as soon as I'll get my digital camera back from my sister :)
