Introduction: The Lamp of Mrs. Steam
A couple of weeks ago, I found a great tube bulb. It is 50cm long and has a central plug to mount it in a special holder.
I was infected by the idea of having a dimmer on the top of the lamp.
Here is the step by step instructable how to build such a lamp.
Have fun.

Step 1: The Parts
You need:
- Some pieces of plywood
- Some cabling
- A dimmer modul
- Some connectors

- Some brass parts
- Some screws and nuts
- A mains switch
Step 2: Building the Stand
I glued some pieces of woof together for the top of the case.
Than I drilled the hole for the switch
After this I cut the inner part of the stand to have some room for the cabling.
Then I glued the top to the inner part and prepared the buttom plate.
