Introduction: Thrustmaster T. Flight Rudder Pedal Lock for Sim Driving/Racing

This tutorial is for the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedal system. This very reversible mod makes it so you can lock the pedals from sliding forward and back so you can enjoy using them as racing pedals for your favorite racing sim,or other driving games like American Truck Simulator, and BeamNG.Drive. This process will take less than 5 minutes to complete. Enjoy!

Step one. Flip over your pedal system and look for the smaller of the two doors. Locate the door in the picture and unscrew the single Phillips head screw.

Step two. Remove the cover.

Step 3. Place a small wire tie (Zip Tie) where you see mine in the photo. You can snip the excess or just tuck the remaining part of the tie into the cavity and then reinstall the door, screw, and place your pedals in a comfortable spot on the floor.

Step 4. Before you enter your game, locate the USB converter that came with your pedal system, and make sure to move the switch on the side of that unit to the Car logo. That's it, you are done! Enjoy racing/driving games, and don't forget to setup your pedals in the game so they will work as accelerator and brake pedals. A helpful hint, Press the pedals slowly just in case your game collects data at a slower rate than your foot speed. It will help a lot with calibration. To undo it, simply follow these steps in reverse and snip the wire tie with a pair of cutters making sure to not damage the spring or the plastic ends the spring attaches to.
