Introduction: Tic-Tac-Boat

Tic-Tac-Boat is a combination of both Tic-Tac-Toe and Slingshot. They are both fun and enjoyable, promoting active thinking and can be played by anyone.

Typically, Tic Tac Toe is played on paper by marking X and O within a 3 by 3 square grid with a winner being the first to get 3 X or O lined up. With the redesign, there is a fixed play surface and ping pong balls ang cups used in place of pencils to mark player selection. The “slingshot” aspect is incorporated in the cannon using a push/pull method to “shoot” the small ball (color is based by the ship ex. Blue ball for blue ship and red ball for red ship) into the tic-tac-toe grid.

The game will showcase the acceleration motion of the ball going upward, as well as the free fall motion as it's travelling downward and this game will also be illustrating the displacement of the ball after it been shot. The impact the ball will be making will be determined on its acceleration going upward, the higher the greater the impact.

How to play the game:

1. The game requires two players, and they must choose which team color they should be in (Red or Blue).

2. There are 4 Cannons per ship, each player is given 25 cannonballs with their colors corresponding to the ship’s colors (Although you can only use two).

3. Aim the cannon balls on the tic-tac-toe grid to create a pattern.

4. The first colored cannon ball to land on the box can’t be used by the other ship.

5. Note that the acceptable patterns will only be: Vertical, Horizontal, Diagonal.

6. The winner will be determined on which ship creates a). pattern of three on a grid first.
