Introduction: Tiger Face Hand Art

About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

Get ready to roar with excitement when you paint your hand with this tiger face inspired by the single cover for 50 Cent's "Girls Go Wild". This piece of art was also featured in the music video for "I Ain't Gonna Lie".

Step 1: Sketch Out the Idea

First, I sketched out my placement with white face paint.

Step 2: Make the Face

Next, for the face, I used orange to fill in 2/3 of my hand, then about 1/3 of the way down, I dived back into my white to fill in the rest of my hand for the muzzle.

Step 3: Add Eyes

Then, I used turquoise, black, and white to paint in the eyes.

Step 4: Add Nose

Then, I added a nose with pink, black, and white. Underneath, I added on some whisker holes on either side of the muzzle, underneath the nose.

Step 5: Add Stripes

Then, throughout the rest of the areas on my hand, I used black and white, again, but this time for the tiger's iconic stripes.

Step 6: Final Touches

For the finishing touch, I used a dark red shadow (I used Urban Decay Electric Shadow in Slowburn) to add some definition to the orange areas on the tiger.

Step 7: Rawr!

And that's all there is to it! Now, this tiger is ready to pounce on whoever is in her way...just kidding! It's just a hand art!
