Introduction: Tiny Matchbox Suitcase
Hey momoluvers! It's momo! Today I'll be showing you how to make a tiny matchbox suitcase. I did not create this tutorial, but I did create the entire template originally.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and have fun mixing and matching colors and patterns!
Also, thanks you for voting! I really appreciate it!
Step 1: Supplies
1~ template above
2~ scissors
3~ glue
4~ 2 pieces of different patterned paper
NOTE: if you have a matchbox, you can reuse that instead of making a new one. Just wrap the matchbox in the patterned paper like you would wrap a present
Step 2: Matchbox Template
Cut out the matchbox template
Adhere it to the patterned paper with glue or tape lightly (just so it'll stay in place while you cut it out)
Step 3: Assemble Matchbox
After you cut it out, fold along the lines and glue it together
For the lid: simply make it into a box shape and glue the extra tab. Stick it to the inside of the box.
For the base: glue the trapezoid shaped tabs and stick it to the inside of the paper to create a box. Then glue and fold down the second flaps
Step 4: Circles
As it says on the template, cut out 6 circles. Of those, cut 4 in half and 2 in fourths
On the "lid": put the half cut pieces on every corner of the box like shown
On the base: glue the fourth cut pieces on every corner like shown
When put together, it should look something like this
Step 5: Outer Straps and Handle
Cut out the long thin strips in the 2nd paper pattern
Wrap the outer straps around the "lid" almost touching the circles, but not too far over
Fold two little tabs so that you can glue the handle down. Trim the tabs if necessary.
Step 6: Decorate
Decorate the suitcase using the luggage tags and stickers I included in your template
Step 7: Polaroid Images
Glue the side with the image, then fold it in half, to make it twice as thick. Cut it out and crease it well
Step 8: Passport and Postcards
Cut out each piece for the passport, the inside and cover. Fold them in half and glue them together with the blank sides together
Do the same for the postcards, glueing the wrong sides together
Step 9: Map
Cut out the square map and fold it in fourths with the middle crease a mountain fold and the outer creases valley folds. Then fold the whole map in half
Step 10: Finished!
And that's it! I hope you all enjoyed this instructable, Remember to vote, I appreciate it a lot!!! Thanks for liking and commenting. If you haven't already, subscribe, become a member of the farm family and give a cow its wings! Love y'all •_£

I'd love to be able to make this, but the template isn't coming up as a downloadable and in focus issue for me. Is there somewhere else I can find it?
