Bathroom remodling is not the best project for a first time do it youselfer. If you only work on weekends, this project can draw out for about 2 months or more. Make sure to brush up on your renovation skills, because you'll sure need them! And remember, if you don't feel qualified to do all of it yourself, don't hesitate to hire a pro, especially for the plumbing and electrical work.
Important: You'll need to get a permit to start your bathroom remodel. Contact your building inspector and explain what you're doing. If approved, you'll receive your permit and a schedule of when to call inspectors.
We're sure you want to know how much all of this is going to cost you. For our bathroom, we bought the top materials. However, you can always go with less expensive materials without forgoing the beautiful appearance.
