Toilet Tank Cover Silencer

My toilet lid makes a clanking sound when ever I walk into the bathroom. With a small amount of Surgu, I was able to silence it. As you can see in the photos, a little in each corner and your good to go. Roughly half a pea size amount per corner is enough. I rolled each piece into a small ball and placed them on each corner. Be sure to apply a few drops of water on top of the Surgu. This keeps it from transferring to the lid which I used to flatten the balls in place. Keep the lid off for 24 hours until the Surgu cures. No more clanking.
