Transforming an Old PC Box Into a Mini-indoor Grow System. Transformar La Caja De Un Viejo PC Un Sistema Mini-indoor De Cultivo.

Materials:

1x old computer box (similar space can be used)

2x pc fans 8 cm and 12v.

3x Energy saving light bulbs 23w CFL's (two white light "Cold", one yellow light "Caliente") (LED strips can be used or other lighting)

wire and terminals

3x bulb socket

1x Female and male power sockets

1x Timer.

1x Matte White Paint or Mylar (reflective).

1x Transformer AC to 12v DC output.

1x Analog thermometer. (You can use a thermo-hygrometer for humidity control)

1x Thermal-fuse gun  and heat-fusible adhesive. (other adhesives may be used)

Uses:

Germinating seeds of all types: tomato, lentil, bean, plum, mango, apple, lemon, apple, bay ...

Revegetate plants: celery, onion, carrot ...

Keep plants in the early stages of growth, or keep small plants like bonsai, small cactuses or other types.

Airflow:
It is important to have good airflow to prevent overheating incidents in one of the images shown hot air with red arrows and blue cold. The fan configuration helps the air temperature remains stable.

1x Pistola de termo-fusible y pegamento de termo-fusible. (puede usarse otro adhesivo)

Usos:

Germinar semillas de todos los tipos: tomate, lenteja, frijol, ciruela, mango, chirimoya, limón, manzana, laurel...

Revegetar plantas: Apio, cebolleta, zanahoria...

Mantener plantas en los primeras fases de crecimiento, o mantener plantas de pequeño tamaño como bonsais, pequeños cactus u otros tipos.

El flujo de aire:
Es importante tener un buen flujo de aire para prevenir incidentes por exceso de calor en una de las imagenes se representa el aire caliente con flechas rojas y el frío con azules. La configuración de los ventiladores ayuda a que la temperatura del aire se mantenga estable.

Step 1: Empty Box. Vaciar La Caja

Step 2: Paint. Pintar

Cover the most holes having the paper or cardboard box with matte white or other reflective material.

Step 6: Seeds. Simiente

Prepare the seed and seedlings: Soil Blend: 50% worm castings 50% perlite. Fill the seed and put the seeds, then water.
The seeds of the photo are lentils, beans, lemon, bay seeds, apple and plum. Along with some tomatoes grown by me and the carrot will revegetate.
