Tree Me the Great and Powerful

A quick tut on how I made a graffiti tree phantom in photoshop.

Materials :

Camera and photoshop (or photo-editing software)

Step 1: Step 1: Reference Photo

I took a pic of me with a white poster board below for reflecting light and a green poster board behind me for easy editing.

1: import to photo-editor.

Step 2: Step 2 :Clean Plate Reference

1:I took another reference as a clean plate background and imported in as the background plate.

Step 3: Step 3: Cropping

1:Crop the photo with the crop tool.

Step 4: Step 4: Layers

1:I unlocked the layer and proceeded to cut out my face pic with on a separate layer,then copied and pasted onto my background layer.

2: Changed the opacity around and mostly down.

Step 5: Step 5: Brushes and Merging

1: I took the smudge, sharpen, and dodge brushes to clean up the effects. Finally merging all layers and saving as a jpeg.
