Introduction: Triangle Hand Art!

Hello my fellow makers and doers!

In this Instructable I will teach you how to make cool hand art from small triangles! I am sorry for bad resolution pictures, I did this in a rush.

I wanted to do a project with no definitive outline, and practice with different ways off adding texture and shading in pen. I really enjoy drawing hands, the simplicity and the complexity. There's a certain fun in experimenting with different ink textures.

Anyway, moving on...

Step 1: Materials...

Guess what...
The materials are very simple.
A pencil...
A Sharpie pen...
Some paper...

No Explanation needed.

Step 2: Find Your Subject

I personally like having an organic subject to work on, but you could choose anything.

Step 3: The Basic Outline

Draw a light outline in pencil. A LIGHT outline. You will need to erase it later. Just a basic outline.

Step 4: More Details!

Basically add creases in the palm, and the creases in the fingers. And that's about it.

Step 5: Add the Bolder Shadows

So for the rest of this project basically follow this psychology. The darker something is, the more densely packed the triangles should be.

Step 6: Shading Gradation

As the shadows get lighter, make the triangles farther away from each other.

Step 7: Finishing Touches

Now, for the final parts of the hand, make triangles getting REALLY far apart. This will make the hand get more dimensional and you can really see the flat and curved parts.

Step 8: Voila!

You're done!
And now that you're finished, you can show it off to random people!
I mean you can.
