Introduction: Two LED Fading Circuits|| 555 IC or Transistor

This is a circuit in which the LED fades ON and OFF creating a very soothing effect to see.

Here, I will show you two different ways to make a fading circuit using:

1. 555 Timer IC

2. Transistor

Step 1: Components Required

These are the Components Required for making the circuit:

1. Using 555 Timer IC ()

• 555 Timer IC

• Transistor: BC 547

• Resistors: 330 Ω, 33 K Ω

• Capacitor: 100 μF

• LED

2. Using Transistor ()

• Momentary Switch

• Transistor: BC 547

• Resistors: 330 Ω, 33 K Ω

• Capacitor: 220 μF

• LED

Other Requirements :

• Battery: 9V and battery clip

• Breadboard

• Breadboard Connectors
