Introduction: USB LED Light

How to make a USB LED light.
It may look like alot but it is very simple

Step 1: Materials

1+x LED ( you may want a high power one, I used one from a computer that I have laying around.)
1x USB
Scissors/Wire Strippers
Electrical Tape/Solder
Soldering Iron (only if you are using solder and not electrical tape)

Step 2: LED

So First you need to cut the USB Plug to whatever length you want it to be...Mine is right on the Plug But it can be wherever. And Expose the wires on the inside of the sheath.

Step 3: Stripping

No, Your not actually gonna go strip...
Strip the wire in the USB plug the only wires you need are the RED and the BLACK. You can cut all the other wires off.
After you only have the RED and the BLACK wires your gonna wanna strip those wire but carefully the wire on the inside breaks easily if you strip them too fast.

PLEASE DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE BLACK CAPTION ON THIS PICTURE...THIS PIC IS FROM A FRIEND AND HE PUT THAT IN THERE

Step 4: Putting It All Together

Now put the negative side of the LED to the Black wire, you can solder it or twist the wire around the prong, and tape it
Then The Positive to the RED wire.Twist or Solder. Tape.

If you want to you can built a housing unit for this of you can make a DUCT TAPE!!!(The builders ultimate weapon) house and just wrap it around a few times.

Now Your Done!! Test it out. It way only work for a few uses of it may work for a While but either way its a nice project to do on a rainy day.
