My curious mind keeps chasing fun.

and I recently discovered that one can play custom sound effects on Laptop while inserting a USB cable in it for connecting an external device like a mobile phone or speaker.

Since then, I have tried different types of sound combinations just for fun.

Supplies

All you need is :-

  1. A windows laptop
  2. A USB cable
  3. A connecting device (speaker/smartphone etc.)

Step 1: Open Settings

Open Settings in your Windows laptop

Step 2: Navigate to System

Find "System"

Step 3: Select Sound

Click on Sound.

and then click on More sound settings

Step 4: Scroll Down

Scroll down under sounds until you find

1) Device Connect

2) Device Disconnect

Then, click on Browse...

Step 5: Choose a Sound File

You may record your own sound or pick anyone which is locally stored on your laptop.

Make sure that the file is in .wav extension.

If it is in .mp3 or .m4a extension then you may use any online mp3 to wav convertor because only .wav sound file extension is acceptable.

Click OK
