Introduction: UT Trophies Papercraft

About: Hi! I like to create papercrafts. Please follow and post a nice comment :)! I really appreciate it! Be sure to check out my Etsy shop!

Display your Unreal Tournament trophies you earned to your friends! Just print, cut and glue them together. Some need a support frame. You can scale them to your liking using Pepakura Designer (you see the dimensions in there). They are currently scaled towards the other papercrafts, so you probably want to scale it up for a proper size and of course easier gluing. The trophy on the photo is scaled by 4. There are also 2 EASY versions (Champion & Assault Trophy) included if the character is too hard to make! Just replace the texture with the easy version where the character is printed onto the texture!

Requirements:

  • (Strong) Paper
  • Printer
  • Scissors/cutting pen
  • Glue (I recommend: "Aleene's Tacky Glue")
  • Iron/steel wire for support frame and a pincer to cut it
  • Optionally tweezers

Tips
===========

Adjust your paper size accordingly! The papersize used is A4, so if you are using Letter format you need to change it in Settings->Print and Paper Settings->PaperSize and then rearrange the parts to fit the page.

You can resize the papermodel to your liking by going to the 2D Menu->Change Scale->Scale Factor.

If you don't/do want the fold lines, but want to keep the flaps, go to 2D Menu->Edit Mode->Edge color and then check "Hide Edges Almost Flat" and put the slider all the way to the left (0 Deg.) to hide the fold lines. Slide the slider to the right if you want the foldlines to appear.

If you want to keep the fold lines, but want them more transparent: Go to Settings-> Print and Paper-> adjust the ammount of transparancy that you want. (This affects foldlines and flaps).

You can change the texture by going to Settings->Texture Settings and replace the texture with a different one. I included different texture files.

Use the software to easily see which parts connect to each other.

===========

Step 1: Print the Patterns and Cut Them Out

Print the patterns and cut them out with your scissors.

Step 2: Glue Everything Together/Build Support Frame

Glue everything together to complete your papercraft (if it doesn't require extra support).

Champion Trophy:
Keep the bottom of the Champion trophy open, because we will need to build a support frame for it to stand. Build a tripod out of iron/steel wire and hide it inside the papercraft. Bend the ends so it keeps into place and can stand easier. Now you can close the bottom.

Domination & Assault Trophy:
You can build extra support for the pins with iron/steel wire and fill the bottom plate of the Assault Trophy for more sturdiness.
