Una Caja De Reciclaje, Para Aprender - a Recycle Box to Learn

Muy bien, esto que vamos a ver, es como un experimento, se mire como se mire. Nunca habia hecho una caja, y experimento haciendo una caja. Nunca habia usado madera vieja y carcomida, y la he usado para darle apariencia antigua. Creo que nunca he mezclado madera y metales, de la forma en que lo he hecho esta vez, otro esperiomento.

Materiales:

-madera de tarima machiembrada, reutilizada.

-angulos de hierro, reciclados de material de fotocopiadora.

-tornillos, palillos de bambu, bisagra de piano y cola.

-sierra de mano, lima, lija, berbiqui, destornillador.

-ilusion, paciencia y curiosidad.

Step 1: Primeros Pasos - First Steps

Primero hay que preparar las tablas. Al ser machiembradas, hay que eliminar alguna parte de la union. En la base y la tapa,unimos las tablas machiembradas, encolandolas. Las tablas que formaran los laterales, se cortan a medida, y los ingletes. Se encola todo y se sujeta con sargentos. Tambien se atornillan las uniones que lo permiten.

Los defectos de la madera mas feos, se tapan con masilla. La masilla la hago con cola y serrin. Despues se lija, pero de forma superficial, no quiero un acabado fino.

Se pegan con cola rapida y se atornillan. Los agujeros los he hecho con berbiqui, ya que no tengo electricidad en este taller.

Y despues, con mi sierra japonesa (que maravilla), corto la madera. Pero no todo el perfil de una vez. Primero corto la parte trasera, y le pongo las bisagras. Y despues el resto de los laterales.

El acabado sera otra historia, porque quiero experimentar con el aceite usado de coche, que se usaba antiguamente como anticarcoma. Cuando lo haga, os lo enseño.
